This medicine is used for schizophrenia or mania. Risperidone decreases Dopaminergic and serotonergic activity in the brain, which reduces the symptoms of schizophrenia and mood disorders. Trihexyphenidyl acts on the nerve system and corrects some of the chemical imbalances that causes Parkinson’s disease and some side effects that arise during antipsychotic treatments.
